DESCRIPTION
Electricians are responsible for installing and repairing electrical equipment. During the installation of such equipment, they ensure compliance with safety standards and other applicable regulations. In this role, they use the latheyt plans of buildings and homes to determine the most effective way of installing electrical wiring and other equipment. they then install electrical fixtures and devices, connecting them through wires. A part of their job is to test-run the electrical devices or equipment that they have installed to make sure it is functioning properly. As an electrician, they use a wide range of power tools, hand tools, measuring devices and testing equipment.
